Peter Toyinbo, MBChB, PhD, CPH
Statistician
Dr. Toyinbo is a biostatistician, and provides statistical support for various research projects at CINDRR. His research interests include item response theory analysis, and the application of latent variable modeling and smooth spline function techniques to assess variation in intervention impact as a function of individual level risk or protective factors. The latter techniques enable the identification of patients who may be helped, unresponsive or harmed by an intervention program under evaluation. He is also interested in the use of graphical models including Bayesian network modeling techniques for analyzing complex health data.
