Linda Cowan, PhD, FNP-BC, CWS is the Associate Director of the VISN 8 Patient Safety Center of Inquiry (PSCI), Associate Director of Nursing Service/Research, and faculty member of the Interprofessional Fellowship Program in Patient Safety at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. Her research interests are in the area of improving patient outcomes in patient safety (e.g. preventing pressure injury).
